Past Offering

If you are building community and relationships and in anyway part of the resistance we need relationship care, skills and practice.

Relationships and community are a foundational security need from the beginning of time. I believe it is so innately engrained in us just like any other thrive-vial skill. The systems of dominance and oppression have dis-member it from us, created a disconnection and then placed other things in the place of care & community & relationships.

Somatic care and education goes hand in hand with our ability to be in the vulnerability of relationship, in the vulnerability it takes to ask for help, or give support, or be wrong and wronged. When we feel the constriction and uncomfortableness of someone saying “you hurt me,” or “no, I can’t help you,” it’s SCARY, it can hurt more, what do you do next?

We will be having group discussion around creating caring relationships, with ourself and others, what does community mean and ways to be prepared to care or be cared for. We will be practicing scenarios, and tapping into and moving with the somatic responses/reactions that arise, as well as creating and sharing resources to help us feel more secure so we may show up on this path of Liberation.

Planting Seeds of Care is a free, no experience needed, online workshop just for people of the global majority.
